36 amazing biblical encouragements

Some months ago, my sister shared a list of encouraging bible verses with me. When she made this list of verses as part of therapy led by a Christian counselor. These verses were of great encouragement to me at that time. Yesterday I found these verses and encouragements again. I've translated these, added some of my own favorite verses and encouragements, and reorganized them a bit. I hope that these are of as much help to you as they have been to me.

Finding so much strength, encouragement, and self-worth in such an old but precious book is beautiful. If there are verses that speak especially to you, please add them as comments.

I am saved.

• I am a child of God. (John 1 verse 12)
• I am saved, and my sins are forgiven (Colossians 1 verse 14)
• I am a saint (Ephesians 1 verse 1)
• I have a place with Christ in heaven (Ephesians 2 verse 6)
• I am a cleansed branch to Jesus, the true vine (John 15 verses 1 to 5)
• I am perfect and complete in Christ (Colossians 2 verse 10)
• I am bought and paid for; God owns me (1 Corinthians 6 verses 19 and 20)

I am free.

I am safe and protected.

God leads me.
